Facilities

Please familiarize yourself with the following information before your visit.

  • Please park your vehicle on the West side of the building facing the LRT station.

  • Our facility is not wheelchair accessible and clients are required to climb stairs to access the student spa.

  • There are three washrooms accessible to clients.

  • Since this is an educational setting, services are not intended to be conducted in complete privacy, as students may be observed or interrupted during a service.

Spa Policies

  • We accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

  • Gratuities, should you wish to leave one, may be offered in cash at the Student Spa front desk at time of payment.

  • Your student will begin your service with a consultation and/or analysis to determine your candidacy for the service; if you are medically or otherwise disqualified, the service will not be performed.

  • Massage services are not considered 'therapeutic' and are not performed by a registered RMT, therefore are not insurable by private insurance policies.

  • Please note that the special pricing for the series of 4 customized facials is applicable to one person and must be prepaid.

Spa Etiquette

  • If you will not be able to attend your appointment, or if you will be late, please call the El Student Spa extension immediately at 403. 263. 2204 ext 5.

  • Please arrive a little early to allow time to check-in.

  • If you are late for your appointment, there may not be enough time to perform your treatment The service will have to be shortened, or your appointment may be postponed to another day.

  • Outdoor footwear should be removed. Clean slippers are provided.

  • Please maintain a low voice in the spa.

  • Please leave children in the care of others: babies and children are not permitted.

  • Please do not bring other guests unless they have appointments.

  • Minors under the age of 17 will require written parental permission, with signature and a contact phone number, to receive treatments.

  • Gratuities, should you wish to leave one, may be offered in cash only, at the Student Spa front desk at time of payment: our debit/credit machines do not accommodate tips.

Student Spa Experience

  • Please leave your outdoor shoes at the door and put on a provided pair of clean slippers.

  • Check-in at the El Student Spa desk.

  • You will be given a tote bag for your coat and personal items .

  • You may be required to change into robes and/or disposable undergarments for your service.

  • Disposable undergarments are worn to avoid the student getting products that stain or cannot be washed-off your personal garments

  • Disposable undergarments are used for body treatments and particular waxing services.

  • Your student will begin your service with a consultation and/or analysis to determine your candidacy for the service; if you are medically or otherwise disqualified, the service will not be performed .

  • Your service will be performed in a professional manner, and in a pleasant, spa ­like setting, but as this is an educational setting your treatment may be monitored or interrupted by an educator.

  • Most of the products used in the spa are also available for purchase.
