HYBRID OPTION
2 Days 9:00am - 4:30pm + Online Component (Hybrid Course)
Students will be required to complete an online theory component before and during the course. Training at the school will be focused on achieving strong practical proficiency in Body Treatments.
This course includes theory on cellulite causes and cures, thalassotherapy and benefits on exfoliation. Topics covered include cellulite massage techniques, body exfoliation and body wraps. Specifically, you will learn and experience the Peppermint Sea Twist Body Wrap, body exfoliation and a Seaweed Body Wrap. No model required. Students work on each other with a variety of body treatment products.
ONLINE OPTION
Module 1 - Theory
The instructor-led Treatments Theory Lecture, presented to you by Jacky Tattrie, contains critical information, and highlights or illuminates some of the key concepts of your theory training. Students will be required to carefully read through The Esthetic Institute’s Body Treatments Manual.
Module 2 - Demo Video
Your instructor will fully demonstrate various Body Treatments and highlight techniques that help you deliver a more effective and efficient service.
Module 3 - Q & A Session
Students must attend the webcam-enabled Q & A with your Instructor, where your questions can be answered and your readiness to begin Quota submission can be gauged.
Module 4 - Quota Submission
Students will be required to perform and document ONE body treatment as part of the practical exam. The quota must be submitted to the student folder on Google Drive.
Theory + Practical Exam
Both parts of the exam will be done online through Moodle. Practical exam will be the quota submission.

This two day course will provide students with the knowledge and practical hands on experience using the power of the latest, cutting edge technologies combined for cellulite reduction, skin tightening and body toning. The basic science of non invasive modulations and modifications of the adipose tissue as well as generalized figure and shape is reviewed. The course further expands on the differences between technologies and how they will address and correct various body contouring concerns of the client. Students will understand indications and contraindications of non invasive body contouring and review clinical results and outcomes of specific technologies. The newest and latest study of radiofrequency energy devices is explored as well as suction, massage and Endermologie. Practical training will demonstrate the importance of proper patient preparation and the utilization of combination therapies with multiple devices to achieve maximum results for the patient.
