MODULAR PROGRAM INFORMATION

What is a modular program?

Our modular program consists of individual, pre-scheduled courses. This program schedule does allow flexibility in generating schedules and being able to cater to prospective students and their personal schedules. This program is not a set schedule for the duration of the program, so if you are seeking a program with set days, we have other programs that may be better suited! The only program that is not composed of individual courses and must be taken as listed is the Makeup Artistry Diploma program.

How long do I have to complete the program?

Each program will have a designated number of weeks for completion. The Esthetic Institute (TEI) is a part of the Private Vocational Training (PVT) Regulation and we must enforce the guidelines.

Full Esthetic Diploma Program                         35 weeks

Advanced Clinical Esthetic Diploma Program          33 weeks

Nail Technician Diploma Program                      21 weeks

Advanced Makeup Artistry Diploma Program        12 weeks

The Browtician Program & Lash Technician program are not eligible for student aid funding or under PVT so they can be completed within 12 months (maximum eligible time).

Which programs are eligible for Student aid (government funding)?

The modular programs eligible for government Student aid are: Full Esthetic Diploma, Advanced Clinical Esthetic Diploma, Nail Technician Diploma and Advanced Makeup Artistry Diploma. Prospective students must be either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen and must be residing in Alberta for at least 12 months in order to apply for Student Aid through Alberta. Anyone who is new to Alberta from a different province must apply for their student loan through the province they previously lived in.
