Where will I live while I am In Canada?
The Esthetic Institute does not provide campus housing for International Students.
There are many Homestay programs offered in the City of Calgary where international students can live as part of a family in a community while they complete their studies for a monthly fee. It is the students responsibility to contact the Homestay program to make their own living arrangements. Please click on the links below to apply for a Homestay Program.

Q. What do I need to make sure I am covered in a medical situation?
A) The Esthetic Institute does not provide health insurance. Please ensure that you have adequate medical coverage from your home country before arriving in Canada. You may also be eligible for Alberta Health Care for the duration of your stay. Please click on the link below for more information.

In between your scenic travel plans, make sure you take a look from your mobile phone at the The Chinook Centre and plan a few hours for some of the best shopping Alberta has to offer. If you prefer more physical activities like swimming or ice skating, or a place to take your family for the day for a fun filled afternoon of all sorts of indoor physical entertainment then you must see what the Southland Leisure Centre has to offer. You will not be disappointed.
Of course no experience in a new city would be complete without a trip to the zoo. The Calgary Zoo will not disappoint you. With everything you would expect to see and with special attractions unique to our great country, The Calgary Zoo is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon and do not forget the Red Pandas.
With your days full and your night’s empty, you might find just the right event to fill your evenings at The Scotiabank Saddledome. Showcasing the Calgary Flames professional hockey team and star studded concerts will keep you laughing and smiling until your next fun filled day in Alberta.
