This intensive 5 day Laser Hair Removal program is designed for students with no prior laser experience. The course objective is to thoroughly learn permanent laser hair removal on all areas of the body while focusing on safety for clientele by having a clear understanding of all skin types and protocols. Students will be trained on all medical-grade Class 3b and Class 4 equipment, including the gold standard 810nm Diode laser, 1064nm ND: Yag laser and IPL intense pulsed light hair removal. This course will teach, prepare and qualify the student with the knowledge and comprehensive protocols to feel confident and ready to work with any Laser or IPL unit that they will be presented with.
Graduates of this program will leave with the certainty of knowing they have the correct equipment settings to ensure results and a successful outcome for their clients. In addition, the student will have full confidence in knowing their treatment protocols uphold the highest safety standards for their patients. Students will obtain substantial knowledge in the business side of the laser industry, which will be particularly beneficial for those looking to start their own laser clinic. This 2 day course is designed for the Esthetic professional or tattoo artist wanting to begin or further their laser training in Tattoo Removal. The course objective is to educate students in the art of Laser Tattoo Removal on all areas of the body. Students will receive comprehensive theory training, including anatomy and biology of the skin and the history of tattooing. Thermal, chemical and mechanical methods of tattoo removal are studied. Students will be introduced to Nd:YAG (1064) and (532) Q-switch nano-second format lasers. A final focus on treatment pricing, tips, contraindications, complications, pre and post skin care and room set up will be reviewed.

Prerequisite: Students will complete an online theory preparatory component prior to the course beginning. This will be released to students approxiamtely 4 weeks in advance of day 1.

This intensive course is designed to prepare you for a rewarding career in permanent hair removal. Students will receive comprehensive theory and practical applications in all areas of Electrolysis. Topics covered include; client education, the structure and dynamics of hair and skin, causes of hair problems, practical analysis of the hair and skin, bacteriology and disinfection and the principles of how electricity works. All three modalities of Electrolysis which includes; Electrolysis, Thermolysis and The Blend will be discussed at length and how to incorporate them into the treatment of specific areas as well as general treatment procedures. Upon successful completion of this course students will be well prepared to either open their own business or join a Medical Spa. It will further prepare you for the final examination to achieve the designation of Certified Professional Electrologist.

Quota Information
Students must complete 30 additional quota hours post class. This is required to receive certification. Student quotas will be inspected by the educator. Students will also have a post virtual meeting with the instructor during the quota period to ensure they are well supported.
Equipment Information
The school will provide an Electrolysis machine for student's use during class time for anyone who has not purchased a machine. As students will need a machine to complete their 30 practicum hours, the school will charge a fully refundable retainer of $2000 to secure the equipment loaner. A higher retainer may be charged depending on the device.
Students are encouraged to purchase a machine either beforehand or by the last day of class so they will have the required equipment to operate or start their business. TEI's school director and our Electrolysis educator will assist students with various equipment options. All purchases can be made through Beauty Depot. www.beauty-depot.ca.
Bonus! Students who purchase an Electrolysis machine through Beauty Depot will receive a complimentary Thermocoagulation certification course valued at $495. This course will be taught on day 7, following the last day of class.
