Our Fundamentals of Basic Makeup Course offers a hybrid learning experience, combining both online and in-person components for maximum flexibility and engagement. With a strong emphasis on both theory and practical application, this course empowers you with the foundational skills needed to kick-start your career in makeup artistry.

Through hands-on practice and interactive lessons, you'll gain the practical knowledge to address real-life client concerns, such as working with diverse skin types and conditions, while also learning to recognize when trends may not suit individual needs. This course is thoughtfully designed to prepare students for the full spectrum of client interactions, helping you build confidence and expertise in a variety of professional settings.

REGISTER FOR THE FIRST OF THE MONTH

This course runs on the 1st of every other month during our 10-month academic calendar*. To ensure a smooth start, students receive a welcome email with their online login credentials, providing access to the online training modules.

The course begins with self-paced online learning, followed by an online theory exam. To complete their certification as a Certified Makeup Artist, students attend a mandatory in-person class approximately 6-7 weeks after registration.

To kick off the journey, we also host an engaging orientation session where students have the opportunity to meet their instructor, Trena Laine, and ask questions, and get inspired for the exciting path ahead!
