HYBRID OPTION
1 day 5 Hours Practical Training + Online Component (Hybrid Course)
Students will be required to complete an online theory component before and during the course. Training at the school will be focused on achieving strong practical proficiency in Brow Lamination.
The Brow Lamination course is the hottest new trend in eyebrows and it’s making some serious waves in the beauty industry! This service creates the look of full, fluffy brows in one simple appointment by realigning the directional hair growth and enhancing the brow shape. ONLINE OPTION
Module 1 - Theory
Students will complete the online theory component and note questions they have for in class training one week before the start date of their course. This week should allow for preparation to attend the optional Q&A session.
Bonus: We also are providing you with a complimentary course on Sanitation and Disinfection, which you will be able to access via The Esthetic’s Institute’s online platform Moodle.
Module 2 - Demo Video
The online platform has a professionally recorded video of the entire service. Students will be required to watch the online Brow Lamination demos.
Module 3 - Q&A session
Question & Answer Session/Live Demo will be for 1 hour - please check the dates below to confirm the Q&A session time as they may differ for each course date. This will be an opportunity to review your kit contents, get any theory questions answered and further instructions on how to submit practical quotas to be certified.
Module 4 - Quota Submission
Students must submit one Brow Lamination quota showing the before and after pictures + a video of the entire procedure to be eligible to earn their certificate in this class. The quota must be submitted to Google Drive.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The way Brow Henna works on the hair and skin structure is incredibly unique in comparison to tinting. Tinting uses an oxidant to open the cuticle of the hair and allows colour to penetrate the brow hairs cortex through the oxidation process. Henna on the other hand, acts like a blanket over the hair and provides a coating to the hair shaft, coating the top layers of the hair cuticle only. As the brow cuticle has a scale like finish, this coating smoothes out the finish, which is similar to buffing out the hair imperfections ultimately providing the appearance of a thicker, softer and smoother hair and eyebrow.

Students will be required to complete an online theory component before the course begins. Training at the school will be focused on achieving strong practical proficiency in Brow Shaping & Facial Waxing.
This workshop, taught in a hybrid format, is designed to teach students the skills and knowledge required to successfully perform eyebrow shaping and facial waxing on your clients. Students will learn correct measurements of brows, perfect eyebrow arching, brow tweezing and the safe, step by step technique of brow and facial waxing using a variety of waxes. Training will focus on client consultation; face-shaping analysis, the five basic brows, brow make up and tools of the trade. Students will require two models for this workshop (hybrid structure).
ONLINE OPTION
This class requires the student to study ahead of attending a mandatory instructor-led Q & A. You will receive online access to this class through our online school, Moodle, two weekends prior to the week of your scheduled Day 1. Students must attend the webcam-enabled Q & A with your Instructor, where your questions can be answered and your readiness to begin Quota submission can be gauged.

Students will be required to watch The Esthetic Institute’s Brow Shaping & Facial Waxing Workshop theory lecture, presented to you by Jacky Tattrie. Students will follow along during the lecture and carefully read through the complete Brow Shaping & Wax Manual.
Module 2 – Q & A Session
We have scheduled a 30–45-minute, live Question & Answer video conferencing session for you with your Brow Shaping & Waxing educator. The purpose of this session is to meet your educator, review the course outline, set up of your station, tips & tricks of brow shaping & waxing, troubleshooting and more. This will also give you an opportunity to ask questions before you begin your practical portion.
Module 3 – Demo Video
Your training includes a complete, step-by-step protocol of the Brow Shaping service, presented to you by Jacky Tattrie. Your training also includes a complete step-by-step protocol of the Brow Waxing service, presented to you by Jacky Tattrie.
All additional Brow Shaping & Waxing resources will be included in your online program for reference and printing.
Module 4 – Quota Submission

THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY FOR EYEBROWS
Microblading is a 3D eyebrow, semi-permanent technique lasting from 1–3 years. This innovative technique is one you can easily add to your service menu. It simply involves using a hand method tool and multiple micro needles. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hair stroke technique. Extensive theory and hands on practice will have you feeling extremely confident and ready to create beautiful Microbladed brows once you’ve completed the course. Our team of Microblading educators have been trained by Tina Davies, world renowned Permanent Eyebrow Artist and trainer.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a method ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour, and if the eyebrows are still present they will blend perfectly into them. Your clients will be astounded by the natural and flawless outcome of their fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows will appear darker but will fade significantly over a two week period. A touch up may be required as it is difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

Learn the newest trends and techniques in Microblading that will take your skills to the next level and advance your knowledge in this field. This course is ideal for those who have perfected the basic Microblading technique and wish to further expand their skill set. In this 2 day advanced course, you will learn different shading and ombre techniques that will enhance your current skill level and provide additional options of brow looks, ultimately creating a more thorough portfolio, which will cater to all client brow styles and trends. You will be introduced to new needles used specifically for advanced procedures. A model is required on day 2.
The advanced techniques taught can be effective in correcting clients with previous permanent makeup or microblading. Color theory will also be reviewed in detail. Troubleshooting, client after care and different numbing techniques will also be discussed. Students are encouraged to bring in photos of client’s healed work that they wish to correct or enhance.
